About Narbad

Business software, put back together

Growing companies drown in tools before they drown in work. We are building Narbad so a team can run hiring, people, money, projects, and content from one workspace, with one login.

Why we exist

Every company we've worked at collected software the way attics collect boxes: an applicant tracker here, an HR system there, accounting somewhere else, and a growing bill of integrations, seats, and Friday afternoons spent reconciling data that should never have diverged.

Zoho and Odoo proved that a suite can beat a stack of point solutions. We think the idea deserves a modern rebuild: multi-tenant from the first line of code, AI built in where it genuinely helps, and a level of polish in each app that stands up to the best point solutions, not just to the rest of the bundle.

We started with Recruit because hiring is where small teams hurt the most per person involved, and because it let us prove the platform: isolated tenant databases, organization-wide roles and permissions, a public site per workspace, and AI that assists without deciding. Every app that follows, HR, Finance, Invoicing, Projects, and a headless CMS, inherits that foundation on day one.

Principles

What we won't compromise on

One coherent whole

We build a suite, not a bundle. Every app shares the same identity, permissions, and design language, so the product feels like one thing because it is one thing.

Humans decide

We use AI aggressively for repetitive reading and writing, and never for decisions about people. Ratings assist; humans hire, promote, and approve.

Tenancy you can trust

Every customer gets an isolated database and their own subdomain. Security features like passkeys and 2FA are standard, not an enterprise upsell.

Boring where it counts

Accounting should balance. Schedules should respect timezones. Exports should work. We sweat the unglamorous details because that is where trust lives.
